South West Outdoor Festival

The Mendips are the backdrop for the South West Outdoor Festival, a celebration of walking, adventure and al fresco fun taking place this month.

Based above Cheddar Gorge, the National Trust event will feature plenty of walks, as well as the chance to try out caving, trail running, kayaking and bushcraft.

“Last year’s pop-up event on Exmoor was incredibly successful and this year’s event features a great line up of speakers including Sean Conway, the man who ran, rode and swam the length of Britain, wildcamper Phoebe Smith and adventure author Anna McNuff,” explains event organiser Pat Kinsella.
