Save our daylight!

Sunset will get an HOUR earlier during the lifespan of this issue of CW – and the time isn’t too far off we’ll miss the long evenings and walks bathed in rich evening sunlight. Will you help us bottle some of it before it’s gone?

All you have to do is take a video clip on your phone or camera in the golden hour – the time shortly before sunset or after dawn – and upload it to the #walk500miles- or #walk1000miles group, Country Walking’s Facebook page or on Twitter. In each case please accompany your clip with the hashtag #daylightsaving so we can find them. We’re not looking for great cinematography, even a few seconds will do and you can shoot what takes your fancy, and say something or say nothing. We’ll turn the clips we collect into a time capsule of summer to warm us in the depths of winter!
