The Snug

Found in the wonderful Pig’s

Nose Inn at East Prawle: a rose-painted, scatter-cushioned, fairy-lit nook called The Snug. Photographer Tom and I headed for it until the barmaid said: “Go in there if you like, but we usually put the teenagers in there. We call it The Snog.” Note to self: Come back to East Prawle one day with Mrs Hallissey.
