THE FOUR MEN

A play about walking? Believe it. The Four Men follows the adventures of Sussex author and wit Hilaire Belloc as he sets out on a poorly-planned crossing of the South Downs with three pals one misty Halloween. On their four-day odyssey, they travel 92 miles and drink 300 pints of beer, quarrelling, singing and recounting legends of the Downs as they go.
