CW doffs its hat to James Forrest, who this month completed his bid to climb all of England and Wales’ 2000ft mountains in record time. James has knocked off 446 peaks in just six months, walking over 1000 miles and finishing atop Scafell Pike, England’s highest peak. He said: “Every walk has been time well spent – time for wilderness and solitude, for quiet, for escapism and nature. Every mountain has brought me boundless happiness.”

Well done James – though we’re just as happy going slowly…
