Start on 1 June and give yourself until the end of the year and it’s just 2.35 miles (about 45 minutes) a day; aim for the official end of summer on 23 September and it’s 4.4 miles a day – easily doable in lunchbreaks and evenings. You’ve just got to keep at it.
From however small a base of fitness or mileage you’re miles building, we promise you'll see some sights, hear some sounds, smell some scents and feel some things you would never have done; that you’ll feel there’s a bit more to each day – and indeed life – than there was before.
