CELMONDISTON, Route 14, Spring 2018 Great walk around Shotley Peninsula on a very unpromising day.

The cranes at Felixstowe loom out of the mist and seem to follow you round. We’ll return on a better day and walk it the other way round. It was notable for being one of the most sociable walks for a while, with most people making eye contact and saying “Hi”. Quite rare on the lowlands! Andy & Gill Wildmun, Email GRIZEDALE FOREST, Route 17, December 2017 I had a fantastic four-day-long 60th birthday party in Coniston recently. We walked the Fairfield Horseshoe one day, Wetherlam another, and Tarn Hows on the actual day. We finished the break with this route round Grizedale Forest – fun sculptures and

surprise views. What a brilliant few days! Cathy Swinbank, Email GRANTCHESTER, Route 11, March 2018 Me and Naomi have been friends since school and always make an effort to catch up when we can. Both our mums are now friends, and with my two boys in tow we enjoy nice walks. This was excellent! Nice scenery, interesting things to look out for, and a lovely café at the end! Nicola Gordon-Wilson, Email ABERGLASLYN PASS, Route 22, Spring 2018 My friend Emily and I took advantage of a rainy day in North Wales to walk the Aberglaslyn Pass from the Spring Issue. It was a thrilling walk, holding on for dear life on some of the trickier bits as we hung over the river! Brilliant fun! Lizzie Huckle, Email

MARLOW & HURLEY, Route 06, April 2017 This photo was taken at Temple Lock

when we combined your Marlow and Hurley suggestion with a Patent Dadswell Extension a total of 8 miles. Sue Dadswell, Email ELSLACK MOOR, Route 19, April 2018 This route is on my doorstep and I’ve walked most of the paths many times, but there was one section which was completely new to me. Discovering new paths, especially so close to home, is always a joy. My dog Jess loved it too. Kath Edmundson, Email
