MEET OF THE MONTH

31 1000-milers met in Castleton in the Peak District for an 8-mile walk up Cave Dale on to Mam Tor, Hollins Cross and back down and over the old Manchester road. “Enjoyable walk, meeting new companions, sharing stories and general laugh! Nice one” ...summarised attendee Iwona Kordowska.

Mam Tor and the Vale of Edale rang with good cheer and the sound of miles being added to totals.
