GETTING THERE

The fastest way to the island is the few moments on the A87 Skye Bridge from the Kyle of Lochalsh. Alternativ­ely, you can cross on the Glenelg turntable ferry (summer only, www.skyeferry.co.uk) to Kylerhea, or with Caledonian
