GETTING THERE
The fastest way to the island is the few moments on the A87 Skye Bridge from the Kyle of Lochalsh. Alternatively, you can cross on the Glenelg turntable ferry (summer only, www.skyeferry.co.uk) to Kylerhea, or with Caledonian
MacBrayne ( www.calmac. co.uk) to Armadale from Mallaig, which is the nearest rail station. Citylink ( www.citylink.
co.uk) and Stagecoach ( www.stagecoachbus.com) run buses on the island.

Skye gets incredibly busy in summer so book well ahead.
