GETTING HERE

The Watkin Path car park at the end in Nantgwynant is 20 minutes’ drive from the A5 at Capel Curig, via the A4086/A498. Catch the Snowdon Sherpa bus from here to the start at Pen y Pass (bit.ly/snowdonsherpa).

WHERE TO STAY

WHERE TO EAT

Mallory’s Café is located in the hostel at Pen y Pass. There’s another at the summit of Snowdon (closed in bad weather), but we suggest rewarding yourself with tea and cake at Caffi Gwynant (01766 890855) at the end.

EXPERIENCE THE LEGEND

Slate caverns near Corris in Southern Snowdonia play host to King Arthur’s Labyrinth: an underground storytelling experience recounting the legends of King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table.
