Baby on board
I’ve always enjoyed a good walk in the countryside and it’s why we moved out of London and to our village several years ago. Yesterday I read your article ‘Baby steps’ in your family waking guide and was totally inspired! If Jen Lumanlan can do the 170km Tour de Mont Blanc then I can certainly get out and go for a walk up the Wittenham Clumps! I hadn’t been for a ‘proper walk’ since having my gorgeous daughter Thea 15 weeks ago but this morning I donned my carrier, packed my back pack and was off! It was about a four-mile round walk from my house to our local beauty spot the Clumps, a steep hill at the best of times, even more so with a baby on board! But it was worth it reminding myself of that amazing view at the top! Thank you for being the inspiration needed to get out walking again with my daughter. Siobhan Duke, Oxfordshire
