GETTING HERE

The National Trust’s Older Hill car park is 15 minutes’ drive from main roads in Midhurst (A272) and Liphook (A3) via country lanes. Bus 93 from Midhurst stops twice a day on route in Redford on Wednesdays and Saturdays ( www.stagecoachbus.com)

WHERE TO EAT

There aren’t any refreshments on route, but the Orchard Café at the National Trust’s Woolbeding Gardens is a short drive away, plus plenty of choice for eating out in Midhurst.
