2018 is on! Country Walking and sister title Practical

Photography, in association with Fujifilm, have launched a massive new competition to celebrate the breathtaking beauty of the British Isles. With three categories to choose from and a total of £3516 of amazing Fujifilm cameras and lenses to be won, this is the perfect opportunity for outdoor enthusiasts to get creative and share their passion with the world.

Outdoor Photo of the Year 2018 is open to photographers of all levels of ability. It doesn’t matter whether you have a mirrorless marvel or shiny smartphone – we’re simply looking for outstanding shots that show us what you love most about the great outdoors. And with 19,000 miles of coastline, 15 national parks and 120 mountains to explore in the UK, there’s no shortage of inspiration. The categories are Landscape,

Lifestyle and Nature, and we’ll be showcasing our favourite entries as the competition progresses. After the closing date of

31 December 2018, the judging panel will shortlist five entries per category and these images will be printed and framed. Shortlisted entries will be put to a public vote to find a special ‘Readers’ Choice’ winner. Judges will then be asked to select one winner per category.

HOW TO ENTER

Select up to three images, save them as JPEG files no larger than 10MB each, go to www.livefortheoutdoors.com/ outdoorphoto and follow the simple on-screen instructions.  The closing date for entries is 31 December 2018.
