PEN Y FAN, Route 21, June 2016 It was our first visit to Wales when we did this route in May 2019. Five beautiful and sunny days. Our first mountain was Pen y Fan, and our 10-year-old daughter was the fastest of all of us. Patrycja Folta, Ilford

BREDON HILL, Route 08, Spring 2020 We have walked here many times as it is local to us, but we have not approached it from Elmley Castle, so when we saw this walk we were

determined to do it. We stopped on the top at the Tower to look at the Elephant as usual and were trying to find the King and Queen standing stones but later found out they are lower down. We enjoyed the walk, especially the views from the top. Sue & Craig Low, Winchcombe

KELSTON, Route 03 August 2018 In the dark days of March, we found a beautiful spring day to see lambs, brimstone butterflies and skylarks singing, and quite a few others walking – and ensuring that social-distancing was followed! The walk exercised our bodies, but fed the soul and did us both good in ways that words can’t describe! Peter & Heather Morgan, Somerset

BRADWELL ON SEA, Route 07, Spring 2020 CW Spring arrived and I knew this route was where I was meant to be. My husband, Darren, and I spent an afternoon trekking along almost deserted beaches, at times walking on shells and at others on soft sand. We saw hundreds of Brent Geese land on the estuary beside us. An absolute treat for the eyes! Samantha Hambling, Email

CAT BELLS, Route 16, January 2017 I spent an evening going through old CWs metres km 200 400 600 looking for walks we could do whilst staying at YHA Keswick. Then armed with ideas and recommendations we did four routes, Walla Crag, Latrigg, Skiddaw and Cat Bells. It was a wonderful view from the top looking over the lake to the snow on Skiddaw. Vicky Gould, Email

DERWENT WATER, Route 15, August 2018 We spent five nights near Keswick. Here I am with ‘Teddy in the Window’. He receives postcards from all over the world! Thanks for the inspiration! Angela Johnston, Fife
