Good faith

-

Depressed at the thought of retirement I had the idea of walking 1000 miles and using every mile to pray for someone different. My family were first on my list. I prayed for each person as I walked along, writing down the words that came to mind and every time my watch buzzed the completed mile, I took a photo and then started on the next prayer mile. I talked to a few people along the way and added them to the list with their email address and prayer request. By the end of day one I’d completed 8 prayer miles. Once the mile is complete I send the photo and thoughts to the person I’ve walked for. I’ve been amazed how wonderful it is to go out and walk with a purpose and the responses have been great. I’m averaging 100 prayer miles a month – it’s so exciting. Clive Latimer, Bucks
