BAM have really cornered a market for themselves: soft, stretchy, fast-wicking layers made primarily from bamboo. Why bamboo? Well, it has all the breathability and anti-odour power of merino wool, but is softer and without the slightly grainy/itchy feel that some people experience with merino. Here it’s delivered in a format known as ‘Bamboo Air’. It feels great next to the skin (if a bit clingy on really hot days), and it combines with a small amount of organic cotton and some stretchy elastane to make a tee that’s as comfortable as any we’ve ever tried.
