The 72 refers to its weight; on my scales it’s 73g but I just wanted to assure you that we really do weigh these things. Either way, this is incredibly light. That’s partly due to how few features it has: no pockets, minimal stretch, no water-resistance, no thumb loops, no adjustment. This is literally a throw-on windproof but not much more, ideal for fast hikers whose map, compass and phone are tucked away in a (presumably small) rucksack. And it is very effective at what it does. But given that the Quechua does a very similar job (and gives you pockets) for £92 less and only 41g more, you may feel it’s a bit of an indulgence. dynafit.com
