A thousand unexpected miles

I began 2020 with no plans to do the #walk1000miles challenge. Suddenly the virus arrived and we found ourselves here in Wales in and out of lockdowns. So I started a two-mile circular walk from our house every day, plus a couple of local five-mile walks each week, then some actual country walking when lockdowns allowed. Having sat down and calculated my walks, I realised that I had walked over 1000 miles before the start of December. Quite a surprise!
