The Fantastic Four on Tour

During this year, with all three of our holiday walking weeks cancelled, we had to make other plans. We are four single ladies and as such couldn’t all travel in one car to our starting point as usual because of Covid restrictions, so we decided we would try and find circular routes that were near to home. We spent a very enjoyable week in September travelling no more than ten miles, except once when we went 14 miles to a favourite walk. We discovered new footpaths and some lovely walks, and with a picnic lunch each day we had a really good relaxing week off. It’s amazing what you can find on your doorstep if you look!
