‘Helps so much’

“It’s helping my physical and mental health so, so much. I was shielding until August, I work from home, don’t drive and have no garden. Walking is helping me to lose weight, tone up and strengthen my lungs. I’ve lost six stone but it’s also helping me to manage emotionall­y, it enlivens me, gives me focus and time to think. It helps me be creative and being out in the small areas of nature gives me joy and inspiratio­n. I enjoy taking photos of the changing seasons and getting ideas for paintings. Plus, I love feeling the muscles in my thighs!”
