WILDFLOWERS
One of the best places in England to see wildflowers is on the clifftops and valleys between Kynance and Lizard Point. Among dozens of species you’ll find sea pinks (pictured), spotted cat’s-ear and green-winged orchid. The display begins in spring and peaks in early summer but even in August it continues: the Cornish heath billows in soft pink clouds, both here and elsewhere on the Lizard, notably on the clifftops north of Kennack Sands.
