TIDAL LAGOONS IN THE UK

If Swansea were to go ahead, five other full-scale projects have been outlined at Cardiff, Newport, Colwyn Bay in North Wales, the Cumbrian coast and Bridgwater Bay in Somerset. The 3,000mw-generating Cardiff lagoon would cost £9bn and contain 65 square km of water.
