Rib­bons of red, tas­sels of green, Dis­tant hori­zons calm and serene. Pas­tels on pal­lets, frozen on eye, Red berry trees lined with blue sky. Bushes with nests, sil­ver-fish fields, Bark of old years, na­ture so real. Ivy with roses, lilac and whites, Yel­lows and pinks a colour­ful sight. Moun­tains of clouds, bridges of hills, Jig­saws of cat­tle scat­tered and still. Mu­si­cal streams danc­ing in rhyme, Golden straw har­vests sleep­ing with

time. Hints of all weather cir­cling the moon Pre­cious this land… Our life and our tomb.
