My role as picture editor allows me to research and commission stunning photography, including incredible landscapes, beautiful flora and amazing wildlife. The UK also has so many age-old traditional crafts, and over the past six years, the photo shoot that sticks out in my mind is Jason Ingram’s images of John Leach in the Muchelney Pottery in Somerset (December 2015, issue 106). We felt privileged to spend the day at this studio and capture the family’s true essence and passion in continuing the skills involved in creating beautiful pottery for everyone to enjoy.
