THREE JURASSIC COAST BEACHES
Weston Mouth, Devon
Weston is a secluded shingle beach that can only be reached by foot. It takes 15 minutes to get to the beach from the carpark, and a steep hike to return – merely adding to the charm of this deserted bay.
Ladram Bay, Devon
Ladram Bay and its impressive Otter sandstone stacks sit between the coastal towns of Budleigh Salterton and Exmouth. It can be busy in the summer holidays but is a beautiful spot for safe family swimming.
Sidmouth, Devon
Sidmouth’s traditional seaside beach is surrounded by red Triassic cliffs and the rolling hills of the Sid Valley. Smaller Jacob’s Ladder shingle beach can be reached via white wooden steps.
