WOULD you like to earn up to £36,000 managing a trampoline park for a living?

That’s what’s being offered to the person at the helm of a new trampoline park which is due to open on the edge of Coventry this July. Trampoline park operator Red Kangaroo is set to transform a former industrial warehouse in Exhall as part of a trio of rollouts across the country.

Commercial property company the Wigley Group acquired the former RSM Industries site in Church Road in early 2016.

Red Kangaroo has agreed a long lease through commercial property agents Bromwich Hardy for the 53,525 sq ft unit after planning permission for change of use was granted by Nuneaton and Bedworth Borough Council. The park will boast 75 trampolines and is set to create around 80 jobs.

Key among them is the park manager, who can expect to earn a salary of between £30,000 and £36,000, dependant on experi- ence. The park manager of Red Kangaroo’s new Coventry trampoline park will manage and oversee the entire smooth running of the onsite operation, ensuring all revenue targets are met, health and safety standards kept, and customer service standards are adhered to.

Red Kangaroo says it is looking for a “highly motivated individual who demonstrates first rate leadership skills”.

Candidates need to have managerial experience in a leisure or hospitality environment.

Red Kangaroo say the individual trampolines at the new facility will be larger than those normally seen in trampoline parks, and the park will also feature a large half pipe, cardio wall, power tower and slide, ninja courses, dodgeball courts and an extralarge foam pit and gladiator beam.

The new leisure facility will also boast indoor climbing walls and a junior go-karting track. Paul Wrightman, managing director of Red Kangaroo, said: “We are delighted to be opening the first trampoline park in the area. We chose this area because there is currently no other trampoline park and this site gave us the size of premises that we were looking for. Our focus will be on providing a high quality and safe environment. We will be offering a far different experience to other trampoline parks thanks to our extensive space. “There will be a variety of sessions run including toddler, fitness, special educational needs and disability and disco nights as well as children’s and corporate parties.” To apply for the new trampoline park manager’s job click here http://www.leisurejobs. com/ minisites/ red- kangaroo/ job/872337/park-manager-coventry/.
