CAN you step up to the mark and be a dancer in The Civic Hall at Bedworth’s pantomime?
The search is on for six talented dancers to take part in Mother Goose.
And open dance auditions will be held on Sunday, May 14 at the High Street venue, with the pantomime taking place between Saturday, December 2 and Friday, December 29.
Tim Norton, General Manager at The Civic Hall said: “Following in the footsteps of our highly acclaimed 2016 in-house professional family pantomime Cinderella I am pleased to announce details of the open dance auditions for our 2017 production of Mother Goose written by Ben Crocker.
“An invitation is extended to all enthusiastic male and female senior dancers to audition for this year’s professional show and to become a member of this year’s company.
“We know it will be a fantastic show and a great opportunity for dancers to take part in a professional pantomime at a top class venue. We look forward to seeing you at the auditions.’’
Dancers must be aged 16 by November 1, 2017 and are required to be a minimum of five feet four inches inches tall with good all round dance ability and be able to sing and act.
No advance registration is required and registration takes place on the day, followed by the auditions. Registration for male and female dancers is being open from 9am until 9.30am.
None will be accepted after this time and the open auditions will follow promptly from 10am.
Rehearsals for dance company members will commence three weeks before opening and will be held at weekends. All dancers will receive a fee for rehearsals and the duration of the pantomime run.
