PROSPECTIVE home buyers can get their first glimpse of an upmarket apartment complex in Coventry this weekend that’s NOT catering for students.

Developers of the 62-apartment Queens House complex, Elevate Property Group, are throwing open the doors on Saturday.

Queens House, located in Queens Road, is within walking distance of Coventry city centre and offers a mixture of one and two-bedroom apartments and studios.

But anyone who is interested in snapping one up needs to move quickly, as 26 of the properties have already been reserved.

Queens House is Elevate’s first development venture in Coventry and it has pledged its scheme will offer “designer apartments at first-time buyer prices”.

Matthew Walters, branch manager at selling agents Connells in Coventry, said the high specification and lack of availability of similar apartment schemes in the city was driving demand.

“The location of Queens House is excellent,” he said.

“It is within walking distance of all of Coventry’s exciting new developments and the vibrant city centre. It is also very handily placed for the university.

“Owning an apartment at Queens House will not only provide the key to a new home, but will unlock the opportunity for a city lifestyle,” he said.

Prices for Queens House apartments range from £125,000 to £195,000 for the 45 one bedroom and 17 two bedroom apartments.

Construction work is well underway and Elevate says it expects to be handing over the first properties in autumn this year.

Elevate managing director Steve Dodd: “Our move into Coventry marks the first joint venture with Investin plc and we are already targeting other Midlands cities with a number of deals in the hands of lawyers.”

The company has expanded its operations to Coventry following a string of development successes in Birmingham.

Elevate previously said it is “keen to catch the wave” in Coventry, where more than £9 billion is being invested in regeneration schemes across the city.

Viewings of Queens House are available from Saturday May 27 by appointment between 10am and 3pm. Call Connells of Coventry on 02476 553093.
