Theresa May needs to listen to the people
WHEN Tory voters dislike their leader’s policies, they normally vote for minority parties such as the Lib Dems, Green or UKIP.
Such was their anger that many voted Labour for the first time in their lives in the General Election.
If Mrs May fails to take account what the electorate is telling her, then she will not last until Christmas.
She now urgently needs to move her party back to the one nation Conservatism that was the hallmark of the governments of Benjamin Disraeli and Sir Winston Churchill.
That is the only way that she will be able to negotiate a sensible Brexit agreement.
If she continues to ignore the fact that the people have spoken, she will do great long-term damage to the Tory Party. Chris Youett Coventry
