AN Italian-style wine café is to open in Stratford.
Veeno will be opening in the £30million Bell Court retail and leisure scheme later this year.
The growing Veeno chain aims to embrace Italy’s after-work culture of drinking, nibbling and relaxing.
It specialises in family produced Sicilian wine alongside authentic Spuntini including platters of meats, cheese and other appetisers imported from selected Italian producers.
The Stratford Veeno will be the 12th outlet across the UK and the first to open in the West Midlands.
It will join sites in Manchester, York, Chester, Harrogate and Edinburgh among others.
The unit will be handed over to Veeno for fit out next week, with the aim of opening in summer 2017.
John Stacey, asset management director at Bell Court developers UK & European Investments, said: “The Veeno brand is a perfect complimentary addition to Bell Court as we strive to create an exciting retail and leisure mix and a balance of national and independent brands.
“The relaxed offering will add to the line-up that we have secured and ensure the scheme is an appealing leisure destination throughout the day and into the night.

Veeno will occupy a prime position on the ground floor of the new Everyman cinema – due to open in a few weeks – adjacent to two new restaurants, Miller and Carter and Byron.
Bell Court comprises over 70,000 sq ft of retail, restaurant and leisure space.
It is a joint venture between UK & European Investments, Stratford District Council and Stratford Town Trust.
