HOST THE WEEK
WE loved her on Gogglebox but Scarlett Moffatt really struggled with Channel Four’s new unscripted and unrehearsed entertainment show which made its debut last week. In fact it went down so badly with viewers that on Monday the show was axed by the station.
THE internet giant was this week hit with a record-breaking fine of £2.1bn for promoting its own online shopping comparison service ahead of rivals. It has been given 90 days to stop or face fines of nearly £10million a day. However, Google is considering appealing the penalty.
MANSPREADING
MADRID has taken a stance against the practice of men sitting with their legs wide open on public transport, thereby invading the space of others, by placing signs discouraging it on all of the city’s buses and trains. Time for the UK to follow suit?
