UNICORN CRAZE COMES TO A SHAKY CONCLUSION

THE 50th title in the internatio­nally bestsellin­g That’s Not My... series of books is out this week and the latest is all about a unicorn.

Maxwell’s in Covent Garden, home of the monstrousl­y large Freakshake, had to employ three full-timefu staff to copec with the demand for Unicorn Freakshake­s, colourful creations topped with whipped cream, unicorn hair candy floss, candy love hearts, rainbow ribbons and even its own marshmallo­w unicorn horn.

If you’re not visiting London this summer, fear not... you can create your own.

INGREDIENT­S

¼ pint of milk 2 scoops of vanilla ice cream About 8 strawberri­es Squirty Cream (You can use more or different fruit and ice cream to suit your tastes) As many rainbow coloured sugary sweets as you can get your hands on

METHOD

USING a blender or liquidiser, blend the milk, ice cream and strawberri­es until they are thick and smooth.

Pour into a glass and top with a great big swirl of cream.

Decorate it with a magic mix of brightly coloured sweets creating unicorn horns, fluffy clouds and candy cotton hair.
