Tributes left at crash scene
TRIBUTES have been pouring in for the three teenagers killed in a horror crash at Atherstone on Sunday.
Ryan Barber, TrudiMae Kennell and Will Louch died when the BMW in which they were travelling left the road at The Common and struck a tree around 4.30pm.
The three had been on their way back from a trip to Snowdonia.
One tribute left for the trio read: “To Trudi, Ryan and Will, sleep tight angels. Love all at the Chariots Bar.”
Another by Liam Wickett, left for Ryan, said: “You were the greatest friend anyone could ask for. Loved every minute I’ve had with you. I’m proud to call you my best friend, see you soon.”
A football shirt, bearing the name ‘Barber’ and a picture of Ryan with friends, has been pinned to the tree where the teenager lost his life.
Ryan’s family have said they ‘can’t imagine life without him.’
Trudi-Mae, 18, also of Atherstone, was a receptionist and a lifeguard at Atherstone Leisure Complex.
“Trudi-Mae Kennell, you beautiful, beautiful girl,” a message left at the roadside for the teenager said.
“You made me so happy in so many ways, and I could sit here and write a book on how everyone feels on you, I could not name one person who could say a bad word about you.”
Will, also 18, was a student at King Edward VI College in Nuneaton.
A tribute to him said: “I lost one of our oldest and closest friends, but I also lost someone that was always there if you needed a chat and never turned down a chance to hang out with his mates and have a good time. He was taken too soon and will be missed. “See you soon.” The 18-year-old sole survivor of the crash has been named locally as Dan Wale, 18. He was airlifted to hospital with multiple neck, chest and abdominal injuries, as well as a suspected pelvic injury.
