Dave snaps canine stars of Kenilwoof

- Opie, Coventry Road Vicky, Abbey End

Bert, Abbey Fields Severus, Finham Brook Ruby, Kenilworth Common IF you like to walk your dog around Kenilworth, the chances are you will soon come across Dave Musson with his camera.

Dave, 31, is an amateur photographer creating an Instagram ‘dogumentary’ of the many pooches he meets in the Warwickshire town.

And the social photography project has really taken off – gaining more than 200 fans over just a few weeks.

“I love dogs but can’t justify having one of my own at the moment because my wife and I both work full-time, so instead I decided to start a photography project that would at least make sure I get to meet plenty of them,” Dave explained.

“I was expecting people to give me plenty of strange looks but everyone I’ve met so far has been really friendly and more than happy for me to snap some photos of their dogs.”

The Dogs of Kenilworth project – which is called @Kenilwoof – has already featured a range of breeds, shapes, sizes and colours.

And Dave includes personalised captions for each star pooch.

Dave added: “The best place to find and meet dogs and their owners has without doubt been Abbey Fields, although I bump into plenty on Kenilworth Common too.

“Since I started this project I’ve really started to notice just how many dogs there are in Kenilworth!”

So, next time you’re out walking your dog in Kenilworth, keep an eye out for Dave and his camera – your pooch could be the next star of his page.
