Teletubbies say ‘eh oh’ to the theatre...
THERE will be big hugs all round when the Teletubbies star in their first live theatre show.
Created especially for a young audience, Teletubbies Live: Big Hugs opens in Manchester on Friday, November 17 before setting off on a national tour.
The colourful characters celebrate their 20th anniversary this year, and have decided to mark the occasion with a stage show which is perfect for little people.
So join Tinky Winky, Dipsy, Laa-Laa and Po in what promises to be a captivating stage show full of love, laughter, music and “Big Hugs!” as they explore the magical world of Teletubbyland.
Younger members of the family can look out for their favourite Tubby Phone, Noo-Noo and Sun Baby in a fun, bright and safe world which captures young children’s imaginations and encourages them to look more closely at the world around them.
They will also have the chance to join in and enjoy best-loved features from the TV series along with new songs by BAFTA awardwinning composer, Mani Svavarsson.
Teletubbies Live has been created and adapted for the stage by Richard Lewis, who also came up with – and directed – the hugely successful Peppa Pig Live shows.
Featuring full-sized Teletubbies characters, bright colours, puppetry, movement, songs and actions, the show is ideal for introducing young children to the fun and magic of theatre.
