THE operator of a new trampoline park being built in Exhall has announced it will open early next year.

RedKangaroo Trampoline Parks is set to transform a former industrial warehouse in School Lane as part of a trio of roll-outs across the country.

The operator has now begun the countdown and revealed RedKangaroo Coventry will open on February 1, 2018.

The new facility is being created in a 54,000 sq ft former warehouse, once occupied by RSM Industries, which is currently being transformed.

A spokesman for RedKangaroo said: “In less than three months RedKangaroo are extending their chain of unique and exciting trampoline parks into Coventry.

“The huge building will house a whole host of super-bouncy, supersized interconnecting trampolines plus masses of air-bound activities and state-of-the-art equipment.

“RedKangaroo have a great reputation of providing more than just trampolining and this park in Coventry will be their best ever yet providing far more fun activities then even their other two parks.”

The new trampoline park will create more than 50 new jobs, as well as offering placements to leisure and tourism students.

RedKangaroo revealed the building will be completed by Christmas with trampolines and other internal features being installed in January, prior to its grand opening on February 1.

As well as a main court with wall- to-wall trampolines, RedKangaroo will also offer a whole host of additional aerial activities including wipeout, tumble track, reaction wall, foam pits, slide, challenge area, gladiator beam, basket ball slam dunk, dodgeball court and a large soft play area.

Paul Wrightman, managing director of RedKangaroo, said: “We chose this area because there is currently no other trampoline park and this site gave us the size of premises that we were looking for.

“Our focus will be on providing a high quality and safe environment. We will be offering a far different experience to other trampoline parks thanks to our extensive space. There will be a variety of sessions run including toddler, fitness, special educational needs and disability and disco nights as well as children’s and corporate parties.”
