Coventry Telegraph Business Awards 2017

-

EXCITEMENT is once again building as the Coventry Telegraph Business Awards 2017 approach next week.

Awards are up for grabs across 14 categories within manufacturing, sales and marketing, financial services, science & technology and the retail sector.

Set to be held on November 16 at the city’s Ricoh Arena, the glittering awards are made possible through award sponsorship.

This year’s headline sponsor is Janine Edwards, Principle Partner at St. James’s Place Wealth Management.

Janine has more than 25 years’ experience in the wealth management industry and prides herself on providing an invaluable service to her clients.

Speaking of why becoming the headline sponsor was an easy decision, Janine said: “In recent years, I have been the headline sponsor for business awards around the East and West Midlands and so of course jumped at the opportunity to do the same for the Coventry Telegraph Business Awards.

“Not only will the awards shine a spotlight on the many and varied business achievements we see in Coventry but, as a great opportunity to forge new relationships and exchange ideas, they will also help bind together our local business community.

“I will do my best to get right behind any initiative that promotes unity and helps breed confidence – these awards will do just that.”

She continued: “I think if we can demonstrate, and celebrate, what exactly is possible, then it will serve us all extremely well. By setting our highest achieving firms and business leaders as standard bearers we raise the bar for everyone and incentivise each other to replicate their successes. Peer recognition is an important factor in driving progress in the world of business, so the bigger the splash we make with these awards, the better.”

Showcasing the region’s business successes, the awards offer the perfect opportunity to recognise and reward the impact and achievements local businesses have made.

Reflecting on what makes Coventry a great place to do business, Janine said: “Coventry is the ninth largest city in England, and within this thriving city there are tens of thousands of people who are the cogs that turn the wheel of the business community.

“Without the support of the citizens of the city, the businesses would not be the successes they are today. So fundamentally it is the people that make Coventry such a great place to start, grow and succeed long into the future. The city’s central location makes it a practical choice; making it ideal for trading with all key areas of the UK. With cities such as Birmingham, Leicester and Nottingham surrounding it, Coventry’s business community has opportunities for trade coming in from all directions.

“The future of the business community is certainly a bright one and I am genuinely looking forward to meeting a selection of these businesses at the ceremony.”
