Held annually, this year the awards will take place on Thursday, November 16 at the city’s Ricoh Arena and will see representatives of the business community come together for a fabulous evening of networking, fine dining, entertainment and of course, celebration, as the worthy winners are presented with their awards.

Fourteen awards will be presented on the night including Small Business of the Year, the Excellence in Manufacturing award and the Leadership Team of the Year award.

Headline sponsor at this year’s awards is the global metal manufacturing and engineering group, Liberty House.

As headline sponsors, representatives from Liberty House Group will attend the ceremony, sharing in the joy of those businesses which are recognised on the night.

Explaining why the firm chose to get involved with the awards, Dr Douglas Dawson, chief executive of Liberty Industries Group, part of Liberty House, said: “Getting involved with the Coventry Telegraph Business Awards 2017 was an easy decision to make. While we are an international group, we are also committed to the communities located around our operations in Coventry and across the West Midlands. We have Liberty Pressing Solutions on Burnsall Road and Liberty Aluminium Technologies at Daimler Road and, as part of the business community, we felt it fitting that we support the awards.”

He continued: “Being able to support businesses of all sizes and from across a range of sectors, is a source of great pride and we are looking forward to seeing who will triumph on the night and wish all those nominated the very best of luck.”

Looking forward to the black-tie event, which will see guests welcomed with a Champagne reception, Douglas said: “The award ceremony provides a fantastic opportunity for all involved. For us as headline sponsors, not only do we get the opportunity to celebrate the region’s business successes, but it also provides a great opportunity to network with business of all sizes and across many sectors, particularly engineering, which is one of the city’s great strengths.”
