BIKE-RIDING thugs pushed a woman to the floor and stole her handbag as she walked through Bedworth’s biggest park.

The hooded pair pushed their victim, who has not been identified but is aged in her 60s, to the floor and took her handbag in the Miners Welfare Park on Sunday afternoon.

Police say that the duo left their victim, riding off towards the cricket pavilion.

Investigations are now ongoing to trace the robbers, who were both wearing dark hooded tops with their hoods up.

Anyone who saw the pair in the area at around 2pm or who have any information should contact police on 101, quoting incident number 228 of November 12. Details can also be passed on via the Crimestoppers hotline, which is free to call from a landline on 0800 555 111.
