Appeal after fatal crash

INVESTIGATIONS are ongoing into a fatal collision near Nuneaton which led to a young man losing his life.

Warwickshire Police Force has said that it is not yet in a position to name the passenger, who was aged in his 20s, who died as a result of the injuries he suffered in the collision on the B4102, Park Lane.

Investigating officers have said that the Black Nissan X he was passenger in left the road, ploughed through a hedge and came to a stop in a field.

Investigations into the collision are ongoing and police want to hear from anyone who saw the car in the area at around 5.15pm on Thursday.

The driver of the vehicle, a 37-year-old man from the Barle Grove area of Birmingham was arrested at the scene. It is understood that he has been questioned.
