New sports store opens its doors in city

SPORTS retailer realbuzz opened its doors for business at Coventry’s West Orchards shopping centre at the weekend.

The growing operation, which specialises in sportswear for running and fitness, currently has six UK stores but has revealed it plans to quadruple its operations over the next two years.

Realbuzz offers a wide range of fitness clothing and footwear, with products from major brands including Nike, adidas, ASICS, Brooks, Mizuno, New Balance and Under Armour.

A range of sports are catered for, including road running, cross country, court sports and gym activities.

The store carries a wide range of stock from leading brands, ranging from running shoes and clothing, to activewear and fitness accessories.

Tim Rogers, chairman of the Realbuzz Group, is a keen runner himself, having completed over 70 marathons and is highly involved in the product selection process.

He is also a former world record holder for running the fastest time for an official marathon on all seven continents.

“We’re all fitness lovers here at realbuzz, so our whole product range is tried and tested,” he said.

“This puts us in a unique position to be able to recommend the best products to our customers, no matter what their ability level.”

Coventry’s new realbuzz outlet is on level 1, next to WH Smith at West Orchards Shopping Centre.

The store is open from 9am to 5.30pm Monday-Saturday and 10.30am to 4.30pm on Sundays.
