What are you wearing today?

An Armani navy blue leather appliqué jacket, Armani cashmere pink and white sleeveless sweater, with narrow navy leg trousers and black ankle boots.

Who’s your style icon?

I adore Alexander McQueen. His skill to design for any medium was outstanding. His ability to create the beautiful and the new.

What item of clothing do you spend the most on?

Shoes, but having small feet’s not easy. I tend to go on shoe shopping sprees when I tour in the Far East. They tend to do smaller sizes there and have some unique designs.

What is the most expensive item in your wardrobe?

A couture Lindka Cierach black velvet hand beaded full-length coat.

What has been your biggest fashion disaster?

Handmade grey snakeskin three-and-a-half inch high-heeled shoes – total disaster!

Who is your favourite designer?

I love designers who create clean lines such as Armani, Donna Karan, Jacques Azagury, Valentino, etc.

Which is your favourite high street store?

I love Joseph and also Paule Ka – the French ready-to–wear brand created by Serge Cajfinger.

What is your top fashion tip?

Always always keep it simple, don’t try too hard. Less is more as they say!
