DRESSED TO IMPRESS

WHICH CELEBRITIES EARNED STYLE POINTS THIS WEEK?

-

ALL EYES were on London on Sunday night as the cream of the acting crop descended on the Theatre Royal for the annual Evening Standard Theatre awards.

The awards celebrate the best of British theatreland and Andrew Garfield, The Ferryman, stage and screen legend Glenda Jackson and Dreamgirls’ Amber Riley were among the winners.

On the red carpet the battle for best dressed was in full swing with Cate Blanchett turning heads in an Alexander McQueen baby pink knitted crop top and skirt.

Top of the frocks for us though was Keira Knightley. It’s been a long time since we saw the Atonement star in a ballgown and it was worth the wait.

Her fairy tale tulle Valentino number, with ruched neckline and green velvet bows, might have looked ridiculous on another actress but it was perfect for Keira’s English rose style.

At the other end of the style spectrum was Annabelle Wallis. The Mummy star opted for a sexy and dramatic sheer number from Stella McCartney with lace panels and plunging neckline.

The old Hollywood waves were the perfect pairing for the dress.

We’ll definitely be taking her photo to our hairdresser this party season.
