DWAYNE Johnson, Jack Black, Karen Gillan and teen heart-throb Nick Jonas star in Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, a stand-alone sequel based on the book by Chris Van Allsburg.
Out in cinemas from December 20, it’s a great comedy, action-adventure film to get you and your wild crew in a great mood ready for Christmas.
The tables are turned in this latest saga as four teenagers in detention are sucked into the world of Jumanji. The drama begins when they discover an old video game console with a game they’ve never heard of.
Needless to say, they can’t resist giving it a go but they get more than they had bargained for when they are thrust into the game’s jungle setting as their avatars.
They have no alternative other than to play the game for a chance to escape, but they discover that you don’t just play Jumanji – Jumanji plays you. They’ll have to go on the most dangerous adventure of their lives, or they’ll be stuck in the game forever…
Dwayne Johnson stars as Dr. Smolder Bravestone, archaeologist and explorer AND Spencer’s avatar; Jack Black plays Professor Shelly Oberon, a cartographer and crypotographer and Bethany’s avatar; while Karen Gillan is commando Ruby Roundhouse and Martha’s avatar. Nick Jonas plays a mystery guide who lends a helping hand to the stranded teens.
