The theme for this year’s National Apprenticeship Week is “Works for me” and Heart of England Training currently works with more than 500 employers across the Midlands, from SMEs through to large multinationals and to date they have trained more than 10,000 apprentices.
The training provider offers flexible solutions, tailored to suit employers’ individual needs, and training can be delivered in the workplace or on day release at its recently refurbished commercial training salon for hairdressing and beauty therapy which is located in the heart of the city.
The set-up enables hair and beauty learners to gain real experience of working in a busy salon environment at the same time as working towards their qualifications.
Following the recent introduction of the Apprenticeship Reforms, the way apprenticeships are delivered is changing.
Heart of England Training has been working with the relevant awarding bodies to move over from the old model of Frameworks to the new Standards and are currently delivering Hair Professional Level 2, Management Level 3 and 5 Standards and will be offering Business Administrator Level 3, School Business Professional Level 4 and Associate Project Manager Level 4 from April 2018 onwards.
