Building a brighter future
WE are passionate about seeking to raise the horizons and ambitions of our pupils in order that they move beyond their existing environment. We want to make a difference to their lives, and in the most profound sense, through their own ability to make a difference to themselves and others.
Here at The Futures Trust, our decision-making and actions focus upon three clear values:
Pupils first – teachers and leaders totally focused upon the educational benefit of our students.
It’s about learning – students, teachers and leaders are all focused upon developing and improving their learning.
No Barriers - no excuses, only support to ensure students, teachers and leaders maximise their performance
We can only make these values real if we have the right staff com- munity to support the pupils. Our teacher training has been recognised by Warwick University to be of the highest standard. We place so much value on teacher training, and linking with local providers, our trust teacher training leader has recently been made an Honoury Teaching Fellow of Warwick University.
When it comes to teacher training, we believe in supporting the whole person, with high quality mentoring and support and we even help with your application. You will have a subject mentor, a whole school professional mentor, and also access to cross trust training to give a wider perspective on education.
If you are already a teacher, or as you move through your career from a trainee, we continue to invest in your potential from teaching professional to school leader. The trust runs a bespoke leadership training course for those who wish to partake. Also, we supply our core weekly training on teaching and learning
As a welcoming and collaborative workplace, where all employees are valued, we are seeking motivated professionals who are looking to contribute and develop their skills and expertise to help us on the next phase of our exciting journey. In addition to cherishing our staff, we truly embrace continual professional development, cultivate talent rigorously and reward achievement generously.
If you are interested in learning more about The Futures Trust, our values, aspirations, talent management, career progression, rewards we offer and beliefs, please come along to our open evening on Monday, March 19, at any time between 4pm and 7pm at President Kennedy School.
