MAKE & PLAY EASTER

Illustrated by Joey Chou, published by Nosey Crow, priced £7.99 THIS board book offers some lamb-tastic Easter activities that will keep little ones thoroughly entertained over the Bank Holiday weekend.

Aimed at children aged between two and five, it features 25 colourful designs and kids (with a little help from an adult) can make their own 3D decorations – from decorative eggs to chicks and lambs – by simply slotting together the pieces.

These can then be used to create an Easter tableau or for hanging on your very own Easter tree – which the book tells you how to make.

There is also a method for making an Easter bonnet, Easter songs to learn, such as Hot Cross Buns, and recipes to make – including some delicious Easter biscuits which older kids can help to make, and everyone will enjoy eating.

Of course, no Easter activity book would be complete without some egg decorating tips and this one is no egg-ception, with seven ways to sharpen up your shells.

It’s what you might call, a cracking buy!
