A HUGE soft play area is to be opened inside a popular Bedworth trampoline park.

The huge facility is set to open inside the RedKangaroo Trampoline Park in Exhall by the end of next month.

It will boast a host of features including a giant four lane slide and rope bridge skywalk.

There will also be a baby play area, physio ball canyon, log ramp climb, large crawl tub, dizzy disk twister, spider web, vertical roller squeeze and a cube floor.

Bosses at the School Lanebased venue hope parents of children aged both over five and under five will take advantage of the fact that the new facility will allow siblings to enjoy the park together.

Currently under-fives are not able to take part in the main Kanga Bounce sessions on the trampolines and instead must take part in Kanga Tots sessions for one to five-year-olds or Kanga Family sessions for two-12 year olds.

It is set to open on April 23 and Paul Wrightman, managing director of RedKangaroo, said: “We put a lot of thought into how parents, staff and most importantly children will interact with the play features within the design and we are delighted with the outcome.

“We’ve included as much play value as possible to engage the kids and to complement the other attractions within the park, which we hope will encourage visitors to keep coming back.” More than 20,000 visitors have used the facility since it was opened last month.

RedKangaroo Coventry general manager Stephanie Gray said: “We have already developed some great relationships with families in the area during our first six weeks.

“With this brilliant new feature opening, after what we expect to be a really busy Easter holidays, we hope to build many more as we continue to invest in creating a wonderful place for families to enjoy.” But the park has not been without problems and, in the first week of it being opened, it was broken into and staff were also threatened with a handgun during an armed robbery.
