DISNEY Channel’s hit series Stuck in the Middle begins its third series next month. Its star, Jenny Ortega, has three million followers on social media, so we decided to ask the teen icon what she thinks of life online…

How much do you love social media?

I LOVE social media because it’s a great way for me to connect with my fans all over the world. I can interact with the fans that I can’t personally meet. Plus, it’s fun and it’s an easy way for me to see what my friends are up to.

What are your favourite social media platforms?

I LOVE Instagram, then Twitter, then Snapchat. I like Instagram the most because I love seeing people’s pictures.

What’s on your Instagram page?

MY Instagram page is a mixture of pictures of me at home and at work.

Which celebrities do you follow?

I FOLLOW Selena Gomez. She’s so cool and inspirational. Justin Bieber’s fun, too.

Have you ever had to deal with internet trolls?

YES. I don’t let them bother me because I know they don’t know who I am as a person. They can say whatever they want, but they can’t judge me if they don’t know who I am. The best way to deal with internet trolls is to ignore them.
