Now Gabrielle joins line-up for Godiva Festival

THE second act to join the lineup for this year’s Godiva Festival has been announced.

Gabrielle will take to the main stage at the 2018 event to belt out hits including ‘Dreams,’ ‘Sunshine’ and ‘Out of Reach.’

The multi-platinum selling, BRIT Award-winning singer will perform on Saturday’s Main Stage.

Gabrielle said: ‘I’m really excited to be performing at Godiva Festival.

“I know it will be a fabulous day and I can’t wait to perform new songs as well as all the classics, let’s hope Sunshine brings the sunshine out.”

Gabrielle was previously scheduled to appear as Ronan Keating’s special guest at his performance at the Ricoh Arena at Easter.

However, with Ronan Keating’s performance moving to a headline slot at this year’s Godiva Festival, talks began to secure Gabrielle’s slot at the Godiva Festival and they proved successful.

The Godiva announcement comes just as Gabrielle has released a new single, ‘Show Me,’ which is the first from her brand new studio album - her first album in 11 years.

Lee House, events manager at Coventry City Council, said: “We’re really excited to have Gabrielle scheduled for Godiva Festival.

“We know how excited Gabrielle is to perform her new material and we’re really looking forward to hearing it as well.”

Coventry Godiva Festival 2018 will take place in the War Memorial Park from August 31 to September 2.
